Inclusion School
Welcome from the Head
Welcome to Inclusion School Aldershot – part of Inclusion Education, a specialist education charity that supports young people with mental health, additional learning needs and often the co-occurrence with neurodivergence.
We are an independent specialist SEMH mixed school for young people from 11-16.
Our Aldershot school is the newest addition to the Inclusion Education offering – having opened our doors in early 2026.
As the school has not yet formally opened, for the year 2025/6 we have received 0 complaints.
We do things differently at Inclusion – truly putting wellbeing at the heart of education.

Inclusion School is a mixed, independent specialist day school for children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH) aged 11-16. We enable young people who experience high anxiety, school phobia, depression, suicide ideation and other complex needs such as ASC and PDA, to access an enriching curriculum with bespoke learning pathways and qualifications in a safe, calm and nurturing environment.
We will provide each learner with a safe place to experience personalised teaching and learning and access enriching and diverse opportunities to learn, succeed and achieve. You can read more about our Visions and Values here
EHCP stands for Educational, Health and Care plan.
Before an EHCP is provided to a child or young person, you need to apply to your local education authority (LEA) to request a needs assessment. You can apply directly to your LEA, or your child’s doctor/health visitor or a school SENCO can apply on your behalf.
Once a request is submitted to your LEA they’ll review the information and decide whether to proceed with an EHCP. If they decide to carry out an assessment, they’ll gather information by speaking to you, your child, and other professionals who know your child well, such as their teachers, SENCO and social workers. They may also ask you for supporting documents like school or nursery reports, and a doctor’s assessment. This information will help them to make a decision about whether or not to issue an EHCP.

Classes are currently between 8 - 10 learners per class.
There's no uniform policy, we want you to feel relaxed and comfortable to learn. We do ask that you wear appropriate clothing for a school, such as no clothing with offensive slogans. For example, you'll fit right in if you wear t-shirt/hoodie, jeans/joggers and a pair of trainers.
